These beauty gems have some well-deserved hype, and you're going to want to try them out ASAP.
Promising review: "These are a game changer...I bought them because I had a painful zit on my shoulder that was huge and wouldn’t fully drain (sorry for the gross details) no matter how hard I/my friend tried. So I bought these and left it on overnight. I was worried because the skin had gotten torn up when I tried to pop it myself, so I was scared it would do something gross. I woke up and it was GONE. There was a huge white dot in the sticker and it even managed to get the core. Since then, I’ve tried it on smaller problem spots and it works wonders. It even draws stuff out of surrounding pores that I didn’t even know were issues." —Ashtyn

Promising reviews: "I see the hype. When I applied this I was honestly shocked at how easy the product went on. It’s like an 11/10 for how smooth it is. I love this product so much already. Probably gonna buy more." —London Johnson
"I have heard about the Nyx jumbo eye pencils forever, and particularly about the Milk shade. I've been intending to purchase it for awhile, but I never could find it in store and all of the similar products I purchased from other similarly priced brands were huge fails (chalky, glittery, clumpy, too hard, too soft, etc). The consistency is best described as a lipstick, or something of that nature. It is creamy and blendable. It seems to stay put wherever you apply it... This lives up to the hype and could easily become a staple in everyday wear. I will definitely be purchasing in more colors." —Kendall

Promising reviews: "I absolutely adore the birthday Balm Dotcom. I’m on my third one and will probably keep repurchasing it until the end of time. It’s one of the only lip products that truly leaves my lips feeling hydrated and soft and not needing to reapply ever half hour because the formula is so thick and it stays on for hours. I also love the little touch of shimmer and smell, but the formula is just wonderful in general. I purchased the mint one, and I really enjoy that one too. I trade off between the two of them and completely ignore the dozens of other lip products I have, because the Balm Dotcoms are so good for me." —Lillian
"Worth the hype. I got my first Balm Dotcom three pack: mango, coconut, and wild fig. All of them are super moisturizing, and the scents are perfect. Put some on before bed, and my lips still felt moisturized the next morning. I was nervous that the tinted balms would appear super pigmented and opaque, but it's very subtle and sheer. Can't wait to try the rest!" —Kev

This is silicone-free, fragrance-free, oil-free, noncomedogenic, and safe for sensitive skin. To use, dispense a quarter of a dropper into your hand and apply like a serum. Note that on application, the shade may appear lighter but after 30–60 seconds, it'll adjust to its true color. Because it's silicone-free, natural separation may occur. This is normal and it'll be fixed when applied to skin. Plus, you can recycle the bottle! Learn how to here.
Promising review: "I!!!! Love!!!!! This!!!!! Stuff!!!!! I NEVER write reviews but had to hype this up. I just finished Accutane and wanted a light foundation that feels like I’m not wearing makeup but still covers redness/scarring. And THIS is a HOLY GRAIL. It gives my skin such an airbrushed look and leaves it a little dewy and highlighted which I’m a biggg fan of. You can definitely build it to have decent coverage, but it still looks like I’m barely wearing makeup which is a win-win. Also, it has really nice active skincare ingredients for all you skincare [lovers] so I don’t feel guilty about wearing it at the risk of potential clogged pores/breakouts like other foundations. 200% a staple in my makeup routine!!!." —freshface8

Bonus points for being able to do both because normally I have a different product for each. Very easy to blend and stays on easily, can add setting powder for additional hold which I do in the summer. This also works in all weather so i love that it's even more multi use because it's all about simplicity to me." —Sephora Customer

"BELIEVE THE HYPE. I have never been a fan of setting spray in general, I never thought I needed it. I started experimenting with a few brands, and this is by far THE BEST one. I’m the type that would read a ton of reviews before buying a product especially to use on my face. But hands down, I will keep using this one. No breakouts, my makeup lasts an entire day of working retail which means lots of running all day. Absolutely love!!" —teebaby101

I wear it mostly on its own but you can layer it on top of other lipsticks for the ultimate shine and color pop!" —bmackey
"This is not overhyped AT ALL. This is exactly the right amount of hyped! Probably the best lip gloss formula I’ve ever tried. It really does feel like a lip jelly, not heavy at all, but so hydrating and juicy looking on the lips. Chill (the clear shade) is the only one you need in my opinion, but Cashew is a unique neutral brown gloss that will look awesome in fall/winter months. Promising reviews: "The hype is real! I was initially skeptical about the hype surrounding this product, but I was so wrong! As someone with dry skin, I love this mask, which I use instead as a pm moisturizer. The thing I probably love the most is that it really stays on and you can feel it still in your skin in the morning when you wake up, whereas other night masks or cream are gone by the morning. It feels great going on and really hydrated and soothes the skin. Highly recommend and wish I hadn’t waited so long to try it!" —cjq723
"I absolutely love this mask! It’s not a 'put on and wash off' kind of mask, it’s a nice thick lotion you can leave on all day or overnight. I have WEIRD skin — it’s oily/dry/sensitive all at once, I still get acne, and now I have dark circles and fine lines to deal with too. This stuff somehow sorted all of that out overnight and my skin looked and felt so much better after just one use! I now use it two to three times per week depending how my skin is acting and my problems are starting to clear up. I don’t know what magical ingredient they put in here, but I’ll never be without this mask again!" —wildr0ses

Reviewers with thick and wavy hair (2c, like the reviewer below) and coily hair (4c) love this Olaplex treatment. And reviewers with straight hair (1a-1c) say it's great for getting softer, shinier hair!
Promising reviews: "After reading a TON about this product I finally decided to give it a shot and I'm glad I did! I have long, thick wavy (2c) hair that was balayaged and straightened to death. I decided in quarantine to give up heat tools and embrace my natural hair texture. It was pretty damaged (I could not get a wide toothed comb through it without having a ton of conditioner in) so the curl pattern in the top layer of my hair looked pretty (like really) bad. I'd tried protein treatments, leave in conditioners, etc., but the effects of those treatments obviously are only temporary. This product helped restore a lot of the damage and helped me get some curl pattern back. I've used it 3x and I can comb my hair without product in and my hair feels a lot stronger and a lot of the elasticity is back. It's not the same as total virgin hair, but noticeably better." —Emle21
"Must have For my 4b/4c hair. I did the big chop and struggled though baskets of products and online DIYs. This has worked best for me. My hair is longer and stronger without a doubt. No miracle growth treatment but it helped me retain length. I have always done protective styles . This was the variable that made the difference ." —liv1979
"I have very fine, straight hair that’s damaged at the ends from too much heat styling, but this hair perfector is amazing! It doesn’t weigh my hair down at all, but perfectly coats my ends and makes my hair really smooth and tones down the breakage. It’s a must for me!" —aubreykaye95

This exfoiliating solution is fragrance-, alcohol-, oil-, silicone-, nut-, and gluten-free! But because this is a chemical peel, be sure not to use it more than twice a week!
Promising review: "ITS A YES FOR ME. THE HYPE IS REAL YALL. I’ve been using this product for roughly six weeks and as my first chemical exfoliant I must say my skin looks AMAZING! I use this product once a week at night, right before I go to sleep. I’ve experimented using a lot vs a little amount and noticed that one full drop works just fine...After waiting 10 minutes, I rinse it off... There are no immediate results but the real magic comes the morning after. I swear EVERY time I use this mask my skin feels so soft and dewy the next morning. I have seen this product speed up the process of clearing up my impulsively popped whiteheads and it’s so magical. Also, I have hyperpigmentation on my upper lip and this has significantly lightened that area! I absolutely love this product and recommend this to anyone who can get their hands on it!" —Khalea

Promising review: "I've been using this everyday for about nine months as a toner in my skincare routine and I've seen a tremendous difference. My dark marks and acne have gone sway tremendously...I also dealt with fine bumps and textured skin and it greatly reduced that as well. My skin is almost clear. I'm almost on my 3rd bottle of this. I'm never letting this go. I also use it after I shave my legs and 'down there' (not inside of it just pat it on the perimeter) and it prevents any bumps or irritation that may occur. No complaints whatsoever. If you want an all natural, multi purpose, affordable toner product this is for you." —Sue Craig

Promising reviews: "BUY IT NOW. SERIOUSLY. I am on my 4th tube of this stuff. Believe the hype. IT IS AMAZING! After using this daily for 1-2 months, my lashes were longer, thicker, and more defined. I’ve been using it for over a year now and the results are still great, even if I’m only using it a few times a week (because I’m lazy or I forget). Example: I did my makeup for a holiday party, came home, washed my face, and realized I never put on mascara. This stuff made my bare lashes look so good...If that’s not the sign of a miracle product, I don’t know what is." —kmu06
"I literally never write reviews but I got this a month and a half ago and I’m shocked by how much it lives up to the hype. It’s definitely expensive but after buying a number of lash serums with no results, I’m really happy with this one and will be repurchasing. I have sensitive skin and I have never had a problem with it - the worker at the store warned against using it over moisturizer or other products as it might cause irritation, so keep that in mind after applying." —carolinewhalen

"I have this in several colors and always love how it colors my lips and lasts all day without me having to reapply because of the stain effect. It's [pretty] and you don't need to worry if the color is there. If your lips feel dry, just rub some lip balm over it — the color stays! You can also build up for intensity or swipe it once and blot for a natural-looking gradient stain." —Nusrat Sultana, former BuzzFeed writer
Promising review: "Omg velvet perfection. This product applies like an opaque cream velvet lipstick, buttery smooth, not at all drying, and pigmented. The doe foot is pointed for precision around your cupid's bow and holds enough product for full lips in one swipe. Looks great without any blotting. Transfer proof and mask approved! Great for a long-wear look, as the stain is lasting. I like to wear this product as opaque velvet lipstick in the morning and by the end of the day it's a beautiful natural rosy stain that I can apply balm over for a natural no-makeup glam baddie look... Seriously impressed with this product, and amazing price point for under ten. This is the PERFECT lip product imho." —Kenzie Scout

This stuff is amazing. I have no idea why this has been so effective but I'm a customer for life now." —ShannonD726
"The hype is real!! This is an instant holy grail for me. Yes, there is a smell when you apply the product, but it dissipates almost instantly. In my opinion it it worth it for the results. Promising review: "I have fond memories of Coty. I recall as a young girl pilfering through my grandmother’s vanity and finding a Coty tub. I remember picking up the powder puff and dotting it on my cheeks and nose and noting its distinct and pleasant odor. The smell still makes me think of my sweet redheaded grandma. This powder is the best and that is why it has stuck around without changing much for so long. No matter how many finishing powders or powders I try, I always return to the Coty Airspun. It has a matte finish, stays put and is great at perfecting trouble areas and keeping your makeup in place. It has a natural appearance and is not too heavy or caky. I am very pleased with it and will always keep a tub in my makeup arsenal." —Breanna Call-Stephens

Reviewers with thin or fine hair LOVE this hair treatment, and various hair types from 3b to 4c say that it helped their damaged hair. Even folks with dyed or bleached hair says it's safe to use. TL;DR: It works!
Promising reviews: "This stuff is amazing! I saw this as a beauty recommendation on BuzzFeed as a dupe for Opalex...so I thought I would give it a try...I'm so thankful I did! My bleached and heat-damaged hair feels so soft, is more manageable, and looks healthier after each use. I agree with other reviewers that it seems like a big price tag for the size of the bottle but a little bit does go a long way and it is so worth it. I wish it came in a larger size bottle so I didn't have to reorder so quickly." —Carley S. Whitson
"I have 4c hair and was looking for a protein treatment for my thin and fragile hair. I had recently used a product in my hair that had so much alcohol in it; that wreaked havoc on my hair, leaving it pretty damaged. I was very skeptical about this product because I have never seen anyone with my hair type use it. Boy was I wrong to doubt this product, it left my hair looking and feeling beautiful. I highly recommend it to anyone natural or with curly hair." —Therese-Claire
"Y'all my hair came out so shiny and smooth, less frizzy, and all-around more manageable. My hair is thick, dark, and curly (3c type), medium length, and I highly recommend you give this hair mask a try to salvage your hair." —Amanda Rogers

Promising reviews: "I've been using this face wash for about two years. I tried to use other face washes in between (cheaper ones because I am on a tight budget) but I kept coming back to Tula because my skin got irritated by other products I used. It is a bit expensive for a face wash for me but it is worth every penny. It is very gentle, washes off all the impurities, my skin does look cleaner and is not stripped from all the moisture. It does not feel tight after I wash my face and I don't break out at all after it. I really feel like my skin glows now. With other face washes my skin would be patchy and I would break out around my chin. I cannot recommend enough TULA face wash to people like me with a sensitive acne prone skin who struggle to find a face wash that actually washes all the dirt and makeup but does not irritate the skin." —Myra
"I have struggled with oily skin and hormonal and cystic acne my ENTIRE life. My mom is an esthetician, so I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun and nothing ever worked. I’d heard RAVE reviews about this product, so I finally gave in and bought it. For the price, it’s SO worth it. It works way better than anything medicated/medical grade and is a fraction of the price...I always make sure I have extra on hand so I never run out. I will never switch facial products again. Tula saved my face!" —Amazon Customer

Promising reviews: "I’ve never ever been a fan of liquid blush but I’ve been converted. I didn’t see the hype in this line or want to love it, but after trying it… omg I’m in love. I never want to use anything else. A little goes a very very very long way. Small mini tap the blend by tapping finger gently on cheeks. I then use a beauty blender to really smooth it out. It’s smooth, natural, and isn’t cakey. TRY IT. My skin can be dry in my cheeks and oily in other places so I’m glad I switched to this because it gives me a natural glow without looking patchy like with powder." —LaKatNoire
"This product obviously deserves any hype it gets. Because this celebrity wasn’t playing around when she created this blush! I’ve tried all the popular lines [and] from an unbiased point of view Selena [Gomez] takes the cake. This blush is a godsend and really anyone could use it. This blush doesn’t feel heavy, never ever clogs my pores in the three month time span I’ve been using it... And it is just so affordable for such high end makeup. It feels so luxurious to have in my kit...I would recommend this to my mom, sisters, and future kin. I’m in love." —Vickic163

Promising reviews: "I have thick curly dark Middle Eastern hair... I’m typically the roll my curls into a bun for days because I can’t deal with it any other way type gal...This thing is a work of art, so far I’ve used it four times and it’s completely blown out my hair beautifully... My hair is soft and smooth and actually manageable. I usually only get this type of relief when I get a hair trim and beg my hair stylist to blow dry afterwards. It’s about as close to salon as I can do by myself...Definitely worth a buy!" —Lewka
"I’m really happy I bought this for myself! I have medium/thin blonde hair and it gets dry and brittle so I try not to wash and blow dry as often as other people. This hair brush blow dryer works great for me and my hair type. The first time I tried it I was able to finish my hair in about seven minutes which is so impressive. I didn’t even have to section off my hair! No more hair brush, clip and blow dryer. It’s just all in one with this thing... My hair really held on to the bristles and stayed there while it was drying. My hair turned out really soft and had more fluff to it which makes it easier to move around and flip over... If your thinking about getting- just get it!! I’m really so happy I did!" —Kaeli
"Let me just start off with the fact that I absolutely loved this product!! I have between 3b and 3c hair with a couple of 3a strands so for anyone with similar hair type I highly recommend...I do happen to have more fine hair which is why I don't usually get much volume when I straighten my curls but when I tried this out I kid you not I fell in love with it. All I did was wash my hair then pat off the excess water and once you de-tangled my hair I basically just started brushing with it on hot air and it made my hair looks amazing with the desired volume... this was such a great find for me and totally worth the money. :)" —Drea

Promising reviews: "I never write reviews for anything but OH MY GOD. The things I would do for this serum… the things this serum has done for me. I have cystic acne and PIH and this product has helped with both a ton. I can see my dark spots getting lighter every day. 1,000/10 recommend." —nvcj
"Top tier. What made me curious about Hyper Skin [was seeing it] on Instagram. They hyped up the product so much that I actually wanted to try it and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! I love everything about this product. it’s not sticky like many Vitamin C serums and it sinks into my skin beautifully. It has contributed to my dark marks becoming lighter... I would 100% repurchase this serum." —Snw95
