    My Life As A Zag In 15 Gifs

    I love Gonzaga and Buzzfeed is my addiction, so why not combine the two to explain why I love being a Zag?

    What I tried to look like after getting my GU acceptance letter

    What I actually looked like

    Move-in day was my first day in Spokane and I was blown away by campus

    I moved into CM and never felt more at home

    During my first Christmas break, I may have even upset my parents with HOW much I loved Gonzaga

    (Hogwarts/Gonzaga same thing, right?)

    In my last 2 1/2 years, I experienced so many things that have made me happy to be a zag and here are just a few that come to mind...

    1. My first Zombie Nation at Kraziness in the Kennel

    2. The fact that no matter how far behind you are, the person walking in front of you will always hold the door

    3. The unanimous excitement over the first snow of the year

    4. And the unanimous annoyance a week later

    5. The mutual wonder between my friends of how many cog (barc) cookies you can eat

    6. The fact that no matter how freezing it is, there are at least 100 tents full of zags ready to sleep in the snow for a basketball game

    7. That Friendship Friday is a great time to meet up with friends (but also to snag a quality insta pic)

    8. Going to watch friends perform at Coffee House Open Mic night like it's a Beyonce concert

    9. The series of emotions you have before, during, and after a tent city tweet is sent

    10. The fact that I seem to run into someone I know anywhere on campus

    11. But I can always find someone I have never met before

    12. The help UMIN retreats and CLCs have given me in feeling closer to others, myself, and my faith

    11. Arriving at Gonzaga in Florence and thinking about all the traveling I got to do

    13. And the incredible (seemingly endless) pasta I got to eat

    14. But a part of me always missing good ole' GIS (Gonzaga in Spokane)

    15. Because I go to school in one amazing place

    After 2 ½ years of living the life of a zag, I can say I have never been happier to be part of a community as great as Gonzaga’s and I cannot wait to see what I have in store when I return to Spokane.
