Being a theatre major is tough.

Not only are we not paid nearly enough (or at all, sometimes), but we are always busy: working a day job/2 or 3 part time jobs, taking classes, auditioning, being away from home for more than 13 hours because of rehearsals.

All of that, plus, whenever you mention to someone you're an Actor they immediately worry for you.

    2. You're an Actor? Tell me a joke."

    3. "How do you learn all of those lines?"

    4. "Do you have play practice tonight?"

    5. "Maybe you should just do theatre as a hobby and major in Business instead?"

    6. "Can you cry on command? Do it. Now."

    7. "Remember us 'little people' when you become famous!"

    8. "I can't see your show. There's a game that night."

    9. "Why are you always so busy?"

    10. "Acting is so easy, you're lucky"

    11. "What's your back-up plan"
