John Oliver's Story About Meeting Oprah Is Truly All Of Us Meeting Oprah

"She has successfully obtained the power position."

I will forever argue that the most perfect casting decision ever made was hiring John Oliver to voice Zazu in the upcoming Lion King live-action remake, and the film doesn't even have a trailer yet.

And, he really out-Zazu-ed himself when he stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon this week and discussed his experience meeting the closest person to American royalty, Oprah Winfrey.

First, he wants to make something very clear and not sarcastic at all: He is truly a "movie star" now.

So, once that was established, the conversation turned to ~famous divas,~ and who in Hollywood is allowed to be "high-maintenance." This led Jimmy to ask about our Lord and Savior, Oprah Winfrey.

To which he replied with the story of how he met her backstage at the Emmys, after he thanked her in his speech for literally no reason.

But the story gets hilarious when she ran backstage to meet him, and he reacted how every awkward human reacts to meeting "a hugger."

Then, due to the sheer power of Oprah and awkwardness, he proceeded to hold her hand and walk IN THE WRONG DIRECTION with her for several minutes.

In all seriousness, I love you, John Oliver/human Zazu.
