There's no denying that Natalie Portman is one of the most talented actors of this decade.
She can really pull off any role with grace, vunerability, and just the right amount of insane badassery.
Well, today we got our very first look at her newest role in this chilling AF teaser trailer for Annihilation.

Annihilation is directed by Alex Garland, the man behind the Oscar-nominated film Ex-Machina.
The film is based on the critically-acclaimed 2014 best-selling novel by Jeff VanderMeer, which is part of a three part series.
And this film adaptation genuinely has an unbelievably talented cast, including Gina Rodriguez, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Tessa Thompson.
The story follows a group of female scientists who are sent on an expedition to "Area X", an unexplained, uninhabited place that has claimed many victims from previous expeditions.
One of these victims being Portman's husband in the film, Oscar Isaac.
Once inside Area X, many things begin to happen that the group cannot explain, which lends to the truly sinister tone of this teaser.
Color me intrigued AF and count me in to see more...even though I'll have to wait until Feb. 23, 2018.
