So, I think we're all feeling the absence of Game of Thrones in our lives, but I come bearing good news!
It appears that George R.R. Martin, the writer behind the original GOT book series, has a brand new sci-fi TV show coming out called Nightflyers. Watch the first behind-the-scenes footage below:
The show, based on Martin's novella of the same name, follows a crew into space in search for a mysterious alien species.
That is, until things go horribly wrong and people start dying, of course.
Martin himself appears in the behind-the-scenes video to promise a lot of space terror and, if we've all collectively learned anything about Martin, we shouldn't get too attached to any of the characters.
But my absolute favorite pitch for the show comes near the end of the video from Supervising Producer Sean Ryerson.
