Incredible Shade Illusion!‬ Our Experiment

Incredible Shade Illusion or a trick? This is still one of the most amazing illusions. The design is just so simple and yet the illusion is so amazing. This illusion has been around for a long time but always in the form of an image. It was created by MIT professor Edward H. Adelson. We experimented with this optical illusion by interacting with the checker board squares in Photoshop on the computer. We also used a flat piece of paper and turn it into a real illusion so we can interact with the optical illusion so you know it is not some computer trick.
