Tara said, "The idea of Jason being a co-parent was the easiest thing. I mean, he's completely born to be a father."

And Jason takes his role to heart.

Jamey said, of his son's stepdad, "He fully embraces him; goes to his basketball games, goes through his homework. I saw him cry once when my son wasn't telling the truth about something - I saw Jason, like, be hurt. Like, he's invested in him."

While Tara admittedly struggles with the idea of another person parenting her child, she appreciates the positive relationship between Natasha and Nak.

Tara says, "Nak's relationship with Natasha is great. He just has a huge heart and kind of accepts a lot of people into his world, and she makes it really easy."

Jason and Natasha thought they were going to be speaking on a panel about blended families, but Jamey and Tara were about to surprise them by reading a heartfelt letter to their ex's new spouse.

"I know how powerful it is for a boy to see that his mother is loved, because that's how he's going to treat his wife."

Getting emotional, Jamey says, "You're doing that for him. You're doing the things I couldn't do."
