    This Plan to Take Down Confederate Flags Perfectly Captures the Fourth of July Spirit

    Lately some Southerners have started realizing that it's time for this flag to go.

    Even a senator from Kentucky said that the Confederate flag is used "to justify hatred."

    Gee who'd have thunk? Oh wait, EVERY NON-ASSHOLE IN AMERICA.

    And really, hatred is so not what America's about.

    Mostly we're about cheese fries. Cheese fries... and an inexplicable national obsession with the Kardashian family.

    But where exactly should those flags go?

    A landfill? A bonfire? The bottom of the ocean? NOBODY KNOWS.

    Well, worry no more. A bunch of students have come up with the perfect answer.

    The plan is simple: a massive buy back of Confederate flags, crowdfunded by Americans who believe in a nation free of hate symbols.

    If the campaign gets enough support, people will be able to send in Confederate flags and get an American flag in return.

    What better way to celebrate the birth of the greatest nation on earth than getting on over there to support them?

    This 4th of July, let's help these kids make this country a little less bigoted, one flag at a time!
