These Cities Have A Genius Solution To Shut Down Puppy Mills For Good

Because the world can be a wonderful place sometimes.

A judge in Phoenix, Arizona just determined that all dogs and cats sold from local pet stores must be rescue animals.

The reason: To crack down on inhumane breeding practices...

And reduce the euthanasia rate for homeless animals.

This should be a wake-up call for the estimated 10,000 puppy mills in the U.S.

Roughly 1,055,435 puppies are produced by mills in the U.S. every year, according to The Humane Society.

Federal courts in Florida, Illinois, and Rhode Island upheld similar ordinances earlier this year.

After all, "rescue" is the best breed there is.
