But the video game-loving kids with special needs who starred in the commercial were the real stars of the ad. One kid says, “When I’m playing with a regular controller, there are some things that don’t work for me.” Another adds, “It’s difficult for me to use both joysticks and the D pad at the exact same time.” Then this wise-beyond-his-words kid says, “I never thought it was unfair. I just thought, ‘hey this is the way it is and it’s not gonna change.’” People are also reacting to the incredibly heartwarming approach to the commercial.
