This Little Girl Accidentally Trolled The PM On His First Day Back

When you have to go to work with your dad in school holidays and decide to burn the prime minister.

There to greet him in his Parliament House office was Mila Liu, who'd gone to work with her dad, AAP photographer Lukas Coch, because it's school holidays. This is when things got ~awkward~.

Seven year old Mila has lived through five changes in prime minister - Kevin Rudd, Julia Gillard, Kevin Rudd (again), Tony Abbott and now Malcolm Turnbull.

Mila gleefully told the Turnbull that he wasn't the first prime minister she had met. She once got to say hi to Tony Abbott, aka the man who Turnbull deposed from the job ten months ago.

"Oh good, you've met lots of prime ministers then!" Turnbull replied awkwardly.

"Yeah."

"Yeah, very good."

*awkward silence*

*more awkward silence as Turnbull shot daggers to the cameras in the room*

"Well it's great to see you"... the adult said to the child, like any normal person in that situation would.

Hats off to you Mila Liu, you've really kicked off the 45th Parliament of Australia with the awkward banter we needed.

Prime Minister @TurnbullMalcolm returned to Canberra today - then things got awkward. #auspol https://t.co/nlNzSbgXHg
