Madonna is on the road to recovery after a health scare late last month.
The legendary singer was rushed to the hospital and admitted to the ICU back in June after developing a serious "bacterial infection."
The ordeal forced her to postpone The Celebration Tour, a tour to commemorate the 40th anniversary of her career, which was supposed to kick off on July 15.
Since news surfaced of her hospitalization, Madonna has been focusing on her recovery — but she recently broke her silence to thank her fans.
"Thank you for your positive energy, Prayers, and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love," Madonna wrote on Instagram.
She continued, "I'm on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life."
Madonna added that her first thought when she woke up in the hospital was her children, but she also immediately thought of her fans.
"I did not want to disappointment anyone who bought tickets for my tour," she wrote. "I also didn't want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone."
Madonna says her current focus is her "health and getting stronger," but she will be back soon.
"I assure you, I'll be back with you as soon as I can! The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe," Madonna shared.
She added that she "couldn't be more grateful" for the "care and support" from her fans — and even added a current selfie.
