Durham Lumiere 2015 In Pictures
Originally commissioned by Durham County Council as a one off even in Durham, the Lumiere has retuned for it's forth year to illuminate the city. Taking place in the North East every other year since 2009, it has since grown into the UK’s largest light festival. Attracting artists from all over the world the city centre is transformed into a landscape of projections, lighting sculptures and interactive installations. In 2013 175,000 people attend the four day festival with attendance set to increase this year. The festival will visit London for the first time from 14-17 January.
