Student Loan Repayments Are Coming Back In February, But I'd Rather Read These Twitter Jokes From People Who Ain't Payin'

What would you tell Joe Byron right now? — Sup baby, cancel our student loans.

*Long, heavy sigh.* OK, I'm ready.

Last year, Joe Biden tempted Americans with the idea of student loan forgiveness — specifically, $10,000 worth of forgiveness. And while some felt like the concept was unfair for those who have already paid back their loans, a large amount of people rejoiced, sharing that this drop in the bucket would offer some relief and free up their funds to buy a house, stop living paycheck to paycheck, and generally better their lives.

Additionally, we should forgive a minimum of $10,000/person of federal student loans, as proposed by Senator Warren and colleagues. Young people and other student debt holders bore the brunt of the last crisis. It shouldn't happen again.

But, living in 2021, we now know that student loan payments are returning in February. Instead of crying — as one might very well be tempted to do — people are coping with jokes. Here are some of my faves that might help lift your spirits:
