Chris Evans Wants Cap To Be In "Spider-Man" So Let's Make That Happen

We need something good for Steven right now.

Steve Rogers is having a hard week, what with that comic book twist everyone's talking about. But at least we still have Movie!Steve, and at least Movie!Steve still has this face:

And given that we could all use a little good cheer on the Captain America front, I present to you Chris Evans talking about which upcoming Marvel movies he'd like to take part in as Cap.

Asked by MTV International where he'd like to see Steve next, he threw out that Guardians Of the Galaxy Vol. 2 "would be fun, but Cap's more an Earth-bound guy."

BUT Chris also mentioned that he'd love to appear in the next Peter Parker solo movie, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

"Maybe the next Spider-Mans. Those are going to be fantastic, and I think Tom [Holland]'s just a great actor, so that might be a fun one to pop up into."

TO BE CLEAR: Chris Evans appearing in Spider-Man has no actual basis in fact at this juncture, and it's likely that it never will! STILL, THOUGH: IMAGINE IT.

Robert Downey Jr.'s already confirmed to be appearing in the film as Tony Stark, so why not throw his frenemy Steve Rogers into the mix?

He and lil' Peter could do more bonding over their respective boroughs. Steve could show him where he grew up in Brooklyn, and Peter could sing the praises of Queens.

ALL I'M SAYING IS THAT IT WOULD BE BEAUTIFUL. GIVE CAP SOME FUN TIMES.

    GOODBYE.
