Pharrell Williams Is Making Clothes That Look Like Computer Glitches, And I'm Sorry, I Don't Know If I'm Ready For Minecraft-Core To Become The Next Fashion Trend

"Generation Minecraft 'bout to eat this up."

Men's Paris Fashion Week started yesterday, which means it's time to dissect all the new and experimental fashion looks from our couches. Like, for example, the double-denim ensembles Rihanna and A$AP Rocky wore to the Louis Vuitton show yesterday.

Look, I've said this before and I'll say it again: I like Canadian tuxedos. There's not much else that can top 'em.

What I really want to do is draw your attention to the print RiRi's wearing, because IDK about you, but I had to zoom in to make sure the image fully loaded when I first looked at it:

    It's giving:

Then Kim Kardashian stepped out in the print too. And TBH, I wasn't sure if this was her or a digitized GI Joe. As one person on Twitter put it, "why does it look like a minecraft character help."

Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Zendaya are all sitting together in the front row of the LV show in this photo...but wait, is that a Minecraft family?

I don't even want to know how much all of this costs.

Anyways, the man behind it all is Pharrell Williams, but if you told me this was a glitching hologram, I'd believe you.

And no, this was not a collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Minecraft — it was Pharrell's first show as creative director. And apparently he was actually inspired by LV's signature Damier print, which you've probably seen clutched by the rich and famous:

And here's the Minecraft — I mean, reimagined Damier prints — on the runway:

Look, it's pretty cool, but after surviving the era of galaxy leggings, I'm not sure if I'm fully ready for full Minecraft-core.

Anyhoo, if this becomes a trend, I'll be leaving it to the experts. But let me know if I'm missing something, other than a few pixels, in the comments below!
