Brexit Proves Democracy Is A Wise Compoent For Us To Listen To The People

The classification of the general vote in Britain primarily related to the country itself, in terms of sovereignty, border control, and economic law adjustments; has sent a clear message signifying the kind of real change Britain needs that is progressive in its own way.

It was a common phenomenon of Britain to be a self-assertive country more independent than the rest of every EU country. That commonality was put to the test on June 24 where we were to see if they truly trusted the chance they were to embark on. What contributed to this, was not only the past mistakes Remain politicians have made during the campaign but the EU itself, recklessly disregarding the past mistakes they made to their image of "democracy" they only claim to be advocates for. "When people stand up and talk about the great success that the EU has been, I'm not sure anybody saying it really believes it themselves anymore." Said Nigel Farage. Most notoriously was its incapability to hide the financial problems with its, economically crippled members, such as, Greece, Spain, Italy, and Portugal, all of which received relentless amounts of bailout money that comes from the economically prosperous EU members who never voted to lend any money. When it becomes predictable they will be ignored over a rightful complaint they address to the EU commission of un-elected representatives, a strong resentment rises along side that notion. Especially when they get caught in a lie or overblown exaggeration case in point Brexit, where non-stop claims of WW3 or global stock market collapse as a desperate attempt to return voters faith.

Ironically in the past David Cameron has had a resentment to the EU in the beginning few years of his entrance into office, and Francois Hollande accused him of conspiring Britain to leave the EU. Prior to the numerous terrorist attacks on Europe as well as the refugee crisis, the parliament elections in the UK and France were to be arranged. UKIP and "Liberal-Conservative Party" were the two most attacked parties during the season, slandered with "racist" to anyone associated or supportive of them especially UKIP. After the elections, the UK started to reconsider to leave the EU entirely after seeing the faulty statistics of the votes to each party and the seats they were granted. Another aspect that added more log to the fire was the "open-door" policy during the refugee crisis which not only resulted in damages to already financially damaged nations, mainly Greece, also economic superiors mainly Germany where their support is insufficient to provide for the Asylum seekers never mind their members.

With the incompetence of the EU representatives only listening to those that agree with them in the parliament, the decision for the UK to leave the EU couldn't be ignored. Especially how Martin Schulz has been reacting to criticism by calling it "Euro-skeptism" rather than not addressing the reason and responding, which is quite the same reflection for the Remain voters during the week of voting. As soon as David Cameron resumed his pro-EU position people no longer considered him a racist because now he agreed with them and still Nigel and the rest of UKIP and Leave was because, they disagreed with them not because there was any rational proof proving so. With continuous tension put on June 24, the immediate shock of the outcome created an insidious reaction by not only the media with not only more inconsistent claims that turned to be lies, but the EU still trying to force down Britain from leaving yet some Representative of the EU have learned well from their mistakes and disregards to how the people in numerous countries feel resulted in more countries feeling the same way.

Not to say the potential collapse of the EU is a good thing if anything, its a union with significant peaceful prowess that needs to be changed in terms of actually democratic decisions over social and economic issues if they were to satisfy both the people and the image they strive for. More nations have been calling for their own referendum to leave the EU such as France, Italy, and Netherlands all of which have too been undermined in their say within the EU commission. Showing more of a test to the EU that now is at stake, unless they refuse to manifest the causes of this resentment, the hostility will grow along with it leaving to and obvious choice to nearly disband the union entirely. Seeing that its effort to disclose real liberties to speak out against certain choices made by a few members all while failing to keep border and financial security intact, makes direct revolt or disobedience the last resort. Which is an admirable beauty of democracy that tends to be overlooked, seeing as to what it can prevent and preserve.
