This Is What Daft Punk Look Like Without Their Masks

    They're human after all.

Production duo The Knocks posted this photo to their Facebook page of Daft Punk hanging out at their record label HQ.

The post was quickly removed, with The Knocks updating: "Guess we weren't supposed to post that pic."

It's not the first time the duo been photographed without their robot disguise. But it's the first sighting for a very long time.

Daft Punk have worn their distinctive helmets since 1999.

Thomas Bangalter explains how their famous look came about:

"There was an accident in our studio. We were working on our sampler, and at exactly 9:09 am on September 9, 1999, it exploded. When we regained consciousness, we discovered that we had become robots."
