I apply to washed and towel dried hair and comb it through either with my fingers or a wide tooth comb and then leave it to air dry. I have 2 daughters with curly hair but 2 different types of curly hair which makes it costly sometimes because the same product does work on both their hair types. This one thankfully does. I use less product on the one with softer curls than the one with tighter curls. Having said that my hair is also curly (and wavy) and I would only use this on the end tips and a very little amount. You can see in the picture how her hair looks like if she goes to bed straight after a shower! This works for both types of hair.
