Including everything from books to shoes.
"If there's one thing I've learned from my most achingly stylish friends, it's that well-dressed people are often pretty lazy: they buy a couple of decent staples, chuck them on in the morning knowing they'll look put-together, and walk around doing whatever it is fashionistas get up to in the day (drinking coffees? Getting invited to warehouse parties? Being the Mysterious Tube Stranger? I don't know, I just copy their shoes and leave all the OOTD TikToks to them)."
Price: £80.00 for a UK shoe size 8.
"After umming and ahhing about it for absolute ages, I decided that I would finally join in on the air fryer hype! As a person with limited kitchen counter space, I was concerned about how much real estate one would take up but this COSORI option is the perfect compact size for if you only have to make portions for one or two people. The digital display makes it super easy to operate and it has useful features such as a 'keep warm' options and one-touch food presets for things like fries or chicken. I've primarily used it for chicken and found it makes perfectly crisp tenders as well as chicken breasts that are anything but dry."
Price: £99.99.
"I love its flowy, liquid consistency, I love how brightening and smoothing it looks, and I adore its sub-£10 price tag."
Price: £8.99 for shade 1.2N.
"Stunning bottle aside, I absolutely love how much hard work this drink does for me – I chuck in a bit of tonic, a splash of grapefruit juice, and (when I'm really trying to wow) some ice and a slice for a deceptively impressive cocktail. And when I'm just relaxing at home, I add a splash of soda water and sip away – its citrus-y, lightly spicy, aromatic flavour does all the heavy lifting."
Price: £29.94 for 70cl.
"If this year's January tax panic was a little too real, it might be time to invest in something like this organiser – it's perfect for uni and work, too."
Price: £8.72
"They're long enough to double up as a gym top IMO, and I love their breathable (and pretty) cross-strap backs. Crucially, the support these give me is something else – I honestly think I've missed fewer classes since buying these cute and comfy options. Also, let's pretend this sweaty-haired, loo-heavy photo is because I'm being authentic and not because I forgot to take a pic until after my class, thanks."
Price: £17.60 for two – they come in sizes XS-XXL, and have eight colour combos. I find they're true to size.
"They're designed to contour to the curves of your neck *exactly*, so it's no wonder I've noticed my back loosening up a little after using these. Ergonomic design aside, they're the comfiest options I've ever tried – I reckon I get to sleep about five minutes after laying my head on one of these. That might be due to its 100% cotton material and hypoallergenic filling, or maybe I'm just resting easy knowing I can chuck these in the washing machine every time they get a little grubby."
Price: £52.60 for four.
"I can't get over how *expensive* these sheets look and feel (think zero static, unbelievable softness, and complete shrink resistance after washing). It makes sense, I suppose – they're made from 100% cotton that's been enzyme-washed, which is machine-washable and incredibly pretty."
Price: £41.72 for a double bed set – it comes in sizes single, king, and super king too.
"I've always wanted a heated air rack (if I have to lift one more still-damp pair of jeans from my current clothes horse three days after I've put them there, I'll scream), but it was hard to find one for less than around a hundred quid. Thankfully, this highly-rated option is under £60 and works brilliantly – it's cut my clothes' drying time by about a third, and it can hold loads of laundry too."
Price: £55.73.
"It’s compact and lightweight but still fits a surprisingly huge amount, has LOADS of pockets (including a separate section for your trainers, flip flops, and wet kit), and feels far more expensive than it actually is! Seriously, the zips slide open like a dream and I can fit my gym kit, a change of clothes, a towel, toiletries, and water bottle alongside my laptop, charger, and other work bits when I’ve got an office-and-gym day ahead. It even makes the perfect weekend or travel bag thanks to the strap section at the back which means you can sturdily balance it on top of your suitcase for longer trips!"
Price: £19.99 – it comes in 12 colours.
"Their breathable material doesn't have that sticky, plastic-y feeling you get with so many other sweat-wicking options – in fact, they look and feel more or less the same as cotton (until you feel their cooling effects in the gym, that is). I love their office-ready scoop neck and loose-but-not-baggy fit – they're also true to size!"
Price: £17.22 for two black ones in a size M – they're available in sizes XS-XXL and come in ten colour combos.
"These joggers are also a total dream to wear – super comfy whilst also looking stylish enough to be worn out for those errand-running, coffee-grabbing days. You can also grab the matching top which has thumb holes, however it's currently only in stock in other colours, which you can check out here.
The slight drawback is that they are a bit see-through, meaning you'll need some light, seamless underwear to go with them. However, if you plan to wear them with a longer, more oversized top like I have here, then you can cover the sheer part pretty easily. Personally, I'm not overly bothered by this, and I'm seriously impressed with the under-£11 price tag too. I took my usual size M in these for reference."
Price: £10.91 – they're available in sizes XS-6XL and also come in a variety of other colours.
"This would be the perfect gym cover up, whilst also being a great WFH or dog-walking outfit paired with ribbed leggings (are you sensing a theme here?). I'd say it's better for lounging than working out as I'm not sure the material would be that breathable for sweating, but they'd be great for changing into post-workout.
The neutral tone means it'll go with tons of loungewear items already in my wardrobe and so they can be worn as separates as well as together."
Price: £16.50 in the shade 'oatmeal heather' – it's available in sizes XS-6XL and it also comes in a variety of other colours.
"Call me an over-sharer, but I was actually upset when it was time for these joggers to go in the wash, as I was reaching for them without even thinking. I like the fact they're slightly more fitted for a jogger, meaning if you pair them with a baggy top then you don't look completely drowned by your outfit (and we all know I love an oversized fit).
They're super flattering on, and look great with just about any pair of trainers, or even UGG boots if you're as obsessed with how they look as I am."
Price: £12.80 in the shade 'oatmeal heather' – they're available in sizes XS-6XL and also come in a variety of other colours.
"If there are two things I can count on in my kitchen, it's these: 1) there will always be spills, and 2) there will never be enough kitchen roll left to properly clean them when they happen. Luckily, this pack of 18 rolls should last us for a while – oh, and it doesn't hurt that they're 100% recycled, either."
Price: £22.18 for 18 rolls of 100 sheets.
"You know those TARDIS-level clothes that make you think "there's no way I'm getting into that" when they're on your bed, but somehow fit perfectly on? Yeah, that was the case with these yoga shorts – and considering how helpful its tight-but-not-uncomfortable compression is while I'm running or doing squats, I'm sort of glad they're so, IDK, squeeze-y(?)."
Price: £12.54 for size M – they're available in sizes XS-XXL and come in three colours.
Psst – get used to pics of my gym's bathroom going forward.
"Our tiny, quite basic dish rack was so old and rusty that it literally fell apart last week – and having replaced it with this ridiculously well-designed alternative, we've all become sort of glad that it did. It has a plastic base to prevent that annoying soap scum from forming on your drainer, it's got angled holders to help your glasses dry *properly*, there are knife slots in the cutlery drawer(!), and most importantly, it's massive enough to hold enough pots, pans, and plates to keep me from passive-aggressively removing items from our windowsill. There are a million other features too, so if you've got more than four people in your household, I'd recommend giving it a go ASAP."
Price: £56.99.
"We had a bit of a 'new year, new home' moment in our flat once January came around, and our bath mats that had gone from plain white to a sort of grim grey ombre no matter how often we washed them were the first to go. Enter: these ridiculously comfortable memory foam options, which feel unbelievably comfortable on post-shower feet and which somehow dry almost as quickly as they absorb water. They're machine-washable too!"
Price: £24.99 for two.
"My sister swears by hers, because it can't absorb any water so doesn't require any washing. Doesn't hurt that it looks so sleek either, right?"
Price: £16.99.
"My flatmates and I don't know ourselves since we got this low-hassle robovac. Who are we? Quasi lords and ladies who sit in our rooms all day while an earnest, try-hard robot servant zooms quietly around our home, mopping our kitchen floor and banishing any traces of the outdoors from our hallway? Yes, apparently! And despite my initial skepticism, I don't think I can ever go back to the old ways – there's just something so nice about not having to face sticky lino every time I go into the kitchen for my WFH break, and this gadget does a much better job at cleaning than our busy household could achieve on the daily anyway."
Price: £299.99.
"I know, I know, I winced a little at that price tag too – but as down goes, it's actually pretty incredible value. More importantly, it actually is worth ever penny: I've never experienced anything as soft, lump-free, and cosy, and I'm positive it's improved my sleep (which is surely priceless, right?)."
Price: £56.84 for a double bed size.
"I was unsure how I'd feel about an electric blanket, but as someone who has the coldest room in the house, I took the plunge. It has elasticated bands on each corner so it will fit snugly onto your mattress without it popping off in the middle of the night (genius). It has three heat settings to play with, and I personally put it on the highest setting so my bed is super toasty before I get in. It doesn't take long to warm up and because the controls are near your pillow you can easily cool it down if you need to!"
Price: £33.59 for a single bed size – it's also available in double and king bed sizes.
"I'm absolutely obsessed with this oversized puffer jacket, it's the only one I've worn since it arrived in the post. The oversized fit makes it ideal for layering (seriously, I can wear two thick jumpers and a base layer underneath and it still feels roomy!), and the duck down filling keeps you feeling really warm. The real winner for me though is the genius design – the sleeves and hem are cut at flattering lengths, making it look super high-end. It also features huge handy pockets and (wait for it) a matching scarf. If you've ever struggled with layering accessories with a puffer jacket then this is literally the perfect style for you, and all for under £100, NBD."
Price: £79.99 for a medium size with an oversized fit – it comes in six colours.
"Not only are these on-trend slippers super comfy, but they also go with way more than you'd think. For a Pinterest-inspired look, I'd team them with loose ankle-grazer jeans but for an everyday 'fit I'll be mooching around the house in my midweek uniform of socks, leggings, and an oversized sweatshirt."
Price: from £61.69 – they're available in UK shoe sizes 8-12 and also come in multiple other colours.
"NGL, I was lagging on my New Year's resolutions until I nabbed myself this (massive) cork board – now that I've got all my goals in plain sight as soon as I enter my room, I've found it much easier to stay motivated."
Price: £17.99 for a 90 x 60xm board.
