Fill In The Blanks To Write Your Own YA Dystopian Novel

The fire grew massive in the Pit of $winner1 as thousands of children from the $winner2lands were arranged around it in concentric circles. Rythe was situated in the second circle. She could feel the heat of the fire, growing ever taller as it consumed every book from the past three hundred years.

Hours passed as each child tossed a book into the Pit and left the $winner3 Amphitheater, then forming several lines and exiting into the Chambers of Control, where each was joined by a Chaperone. 

Rythe’s Chaperone was a Mechanical Imposter in the shape of an old, stern woman named I.27. Rythe thought about her mother and $winner4 brothers sadly, remembering all too vividly how they met their fate when trying to escape the New Government two weeks ago.

Rythe and about twenty other children were escorted into a room called the $winner5 Center. The Chaperones began placing memory erasing $winner6 on the temples of all children. Rythe saw this and knew she must make her escape.

Rythe was only $winner7, but she was tough nonetheless. She had heard a fable in her earlier years told by the children at her school, when the New Government was gaining control. Apparently there was a code to deactivate their android creations. What was that rhyme they used to chant around the schoolyard?

Then Rythe remembered. She stood up and recited: “$winner8, $winner9, 001, $winner10, $winner11, 001.”

Suddenly, all Chaperones dropped their $winner12 and stood up in unison, then left the room. Rythe knew they were heading back toward their docking stations. “It’ll buy us some time, but we must hurry,” she announced to her companions. 

Discreetly, they snuck past the guards and exited the Government $winner13 Building. They were free…for now.
