Dirty Needles Spike AIDS Epidemic in New Orleans
In New Orleans, the city with the third highest HIV rate in the country, there is one needle exchange to serve the entire state of Louisiana, and it is only open two hours a week. Instead, underground groups are delivering clean needles to drug users to try and stem the growing epidemic.
