15 Reasons Why Being A Poor College Graduate Isn't Actually All That Bad

I’m sure you’re tired of feeling all the feels of a dry wallet. So let me give you 15 reasons why being poor as a fresh post-grad is pretty cool if you think about it hard—really, really hard.

    1. You still get to mooch off of your best friend's food supply. They love you, and they probably even pity you. Take advantage of that. #noshame

    2. Couch crashing is basically a makeshift slumber party. You will eventually find a permanent residence so have fun being a nomad while you can!

    3. You can now rationalize eating McDonald's, Chik-Fil-A, and Panda Express all in the same week because five star gourmet meals aren't a viable option for the dusty bank account.

    4. No other options for dinner? Pancakes it is!

    5. Ooooh, you can't afford your gym membership for the next month. What a bummer….

    6. You instantly bond with others that are in the same unfortunate position as you.

    7. Casually finding a way to stay over a friend's place to visit them…and also do your laundry (non-coin operated).

    8. You've mastered the art of grocery shopping within a $30 limit (YES, it can be done).

    9. You now know a million pasta recipes.

    10. Vacationing somewhere nice is a cherished opportunity now.

    11. Your financial budgeting skills are like never before.

    12. Moving around so much has made you the Grand Poobah of efficient packing.

    13. Going home to visit your parents is the biggest excuse to rehabilitate off their dime.

    14. You can finally start up that side business you've always talked about.

    15. All in all, life is ironically simpler—so you can take the time to stop and appreciate the little things.
