On April 1st, Sead Niksic, a 7th grade home schooled student, published a video to inspire the continued research for diabetes. The video details the current environment we live in for diabetes research. He tells a moving tale using his family as a vehicle to the lifestyles of persons with diabetes.
In Sead's own words: " My name is Sead Niksic. I'm in the seventh grade and I'm homeschooled. My film is about how STEM jobs have benefited and improved the lives of diabetics in my family, and throughout the world. Although there's no cure yet, with advances in modern medicine, and research, I hope a cure will be found soon."
