This is the perfect crate if you're in the middle of crate training and end up leaving home, as that's why I used it. The first time I took my dog to visit my parents, I had to bring one of the big clunky crates, and it was such a hassle to break down, pack in the car, and do it all over again at the end of the weekend. I quickly realized I needed a nice travel crate to make things easier. And this one is great. It's super lightweight and easy to set up. I can do it in about a minute. It's got a number of openings, including the sides and the top. I found that my dog is really comfortable in this, even though we're not at home. It really helped me crate-train her in the first couple of weeks by establishing a safe space for her to hang out and sleep in at night.
