    Capitalism: The Multinational Entity.

A History of Capitalist Endeavors in Contemporary America. Why Should America make the switch to Socialism. Who truly owns the means of production for a brand you may deem American or Multinational.

On Capitalism, Socialism, Communism. Who truly owns the means of production for a brand you may deem American or Multinational.

Three different types of economic systems: Capitalism, Socialism, Communism.

Fair Trade: Consumers in industrialized countries voluntarily pay above-market prices for certain food so farm workers can receive higher wages.

Cultural Relativism: Comparing farm work in developing countries to other jobs available to those workers.

Economic System: social institution through which goods & services are produced distributed, & consumed.

Political system: social institutions founded on a recognized set of procedures for implementing social structure.

Industrial society: Society that depends on the mechanization to produce its goods & services.

    Capitalism Versus Socialism.

Capitalism: Economic system in which means of production are held largely in private hands. Main incentive for economic activity is accumulation of profits.

Laissez-faire: Businesses compete with minimal government intervention.

Monopoly: Exists when a single firm controls the market.

Socialism: Means of production and distribution owned collectively rather than privately owned.

Communism: Economic system under which all property is communally owned and no social distinctions are made on the basis of people's ability to produce.

    Beatnik Businesses:

As a learned academic, rampant intellectual, investigative journalist, and skilled machinist. The origins, means of production, and methodology of a company has fascinated me greatly. The majority of American owned brands are complete trash when their resources are found overseas, made overseas but the only American thing about them is their ownership is laughable, especially since many classic American companies are also owned by foreign parties as well. Nothing is more American than Coke, yeah, that and Swiss Chocolate. I'm going to give two great examples of American owned and on our sovereign soil are manufactured goods, both owned and started by Beatniks of the 1960's who were renowned Hippies (Hipsters) who became great businessmen. Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream and American Spirit Cigarettes. As a connoisseur and aficionado of both ice cream and tobacco products, I will say their is no better product than the previously mentioned products which are all too American. Ben and Jerry's is the Gold Standard of iced cream, whereas American Spirit tobacco products are the embodiment of the American spirit and the quality of product this country was suppose to be. The irony is that straight-laced conservative businessmen will do anything to make or save a couple bucks where the liberal entrepreneur will do anything to keep this country going for the betterment of its citizens.

    American Versus Multinational Brands:

If you're still a Capitalist in America in the contemporary 21st Century, I have some news I'd really love to share with you. You know those American Brands or Multinational Corporations whom you all seem to love and be proud of? The majority of their global plants are in developing countries or even better yet, China. You know General Motors? Their Global Plant is in China, way to be an American based company assholes. You know everyone's favorite soft drink, Coke? Which is owned by Nestle? Nestle is a transnational company based out of Switzerland. You know everyone's favorite beer companies Miller and Anheuser-Busch? Miller is owned by SABMiller or South African Breweries Miller and Anheuser-Busch or Budweiser is owned by Belgian-Brazilian conglomerate InBev.

Former President Richard Nixon was the one responsible for bringing jobs from Multinational Corporations overseas, which Former President Ronald Reagan is the second most guilty party in the exporting of American jobs. Nixon opened up trading ties for American Capitalists in the 1970's he opened a real floodgate of us becoming even poorer as a nation. Which at the time China was an underdeveloped country who had basically zero labor laws so most of the outsourced labor was made by overworked children, Ronald Reagan during his presidency expounded these trade ties between Multinational Corporations with other underdeveloped countries once China started to become Modernized.

The People's Republic China is quickly becoming the world's largest and greatest superpower despite whatever you may think what constitutes a superpower, from a sociological, economic, and political standpoint; China takes the cake. The debate is left in an air of mystery whether the United States or China is the world's greatest superpower. Forbes Magazine lists that there are between 152-358 Billionaires in China. The problem with finding out exactly who are the billionaires in China is that China is a socialist market economy. China is a very strange strain of a Communist government with an socialist market economy or socialist economic system which is heavily influenced by the involvement of Multinational Corporations or Capitalists. Their lack of individually known billionaires but large number of those in their labor force puts our country to shame, especially since most of those jobs were created by American Capitalists. The profits made off of the Unionized Labor provided by the overwhelming number of Global Factories set-up by Multinational Corporations is collected by the Communist Party of China making most of the profits then redistributing among those in the Proletariat, especially the ones the party favors or who they consider to be a wise investment for the commonwealth of China in the form of Microfinancing or even macrofinancing, (E.g., Students, Trade Union Leaders, Party Loyalists.) China despite some of their more radical methods of dealing with Capitalist sympathizers are doing great, if you were to compare the number of citizens within the wealth standings of being middle-class in China to the number of middle-class in the USA, China would have a far larger number of middle-class standing citizens compared to the United States, despite China's enormous number of citizens living in peasantry or poverty which areas which were once considered Underdeveloped in China are now quickly becoming more and more Modernized as industry moves in.

So if you still agree with Laissez-faire Capitalism where the Casino Capitalists of Industry would rather put a Global Plant in some Underdeveloped Country to exploit that nation's labor laws and impoverished wages rather than create more labor here in the United States then my friend, you're an idiot. Did I mention that it was the American Conservative Party members and Capitalist Multinationals who started this trend of exploitation of not only underdeveloped countries but of expediting potential employment of American citizens? It's about time we as Americans shifted from a Capitalist economic system to a Socialist economic as well as political system.

We as Americans should do away with Representative Democracy or state representatives and move to a more truer form of Democracy, where every autonomous individual that is an American citizen takes to the polls to vote on every issue for then we shall truly have a government for the people, by the people. We no longer need the Multinational Corporate Elitist Oligarchy who run the show in the "free world." We need a Pluralist model where many groups in society have access to governmental power and are represented by a board of delegates or a Soviet within a Community. We need to retain a Rational-legal Authority without the Bureaucracy which it generally entails which all of this will be led by a strong Charismatic Authority, who is the Premier of the Proletariat, who acts to defend the Proletariat's authority as a collective.

Multinational Corporations: commercial organizations that are headquartered in one nation but do business throughout the world. They are not merely buying and selling overseas but producing goods all over the world, setting up shoppe in global factories that may soon have a global office sitting alongside them.

Functionalist Theorists believe in the modernization theory where developing nations move away from traditional cultures and toward the cultures of industrialized nations.

Conflict Theorists believe in the dependency theory where industrialized nations exploit developing nations through neocolonialism and multinational corporations.

Multinational corporations are agents of globalization or world wide integration of bureaucratic corporate nation-states to developing countries bringing developing countries to modernization through the exchange of their ideas and ideals, with a vast array of wealth to influence the impoverished nation they have their global factory and global office in as a new capitol to the old nation crumbling to the Multinational corporations will destroying the former nations culture and identity.
