A perfect example of someone using their fame for good. Watson has been advocating for women's rights for a good portion of her lengthy career. In 2014 she was a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and launched the campaign HeForShe. Watson is someone for girls of all ages to look up to now and for years to come.

More than just a pretty face, Hepburn spent her childhood in the Netherlands with her family hiding from Nazis during World War II. Later in life, she was a Goodwill ambassador for UNICEF and was awarded the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian award after her death. Today she inspires many young women with her beauty, talent, and kindness towards all.

This Academy Award winner is also a humanitarian. For years, Jolie has worked in third world countries such as Cambodia and has donated immense amounts of money to help the people in these countries. After being shot by the Taliban at the age of 15, she has dedicated her life to helping girls across the globe get the education that they deserve. At the age of 17 she received the Nobel Peace Prize and is the youngest person to receive the award. Today, she is 21 and ceasing to stop her mission to educate girls "one teacher, one pen, one book" at a time.

Most known for her immensely popular _Harry Potter_ book series, Rowling is also very open about her political beliefs and opinions. Since gaining her fame, she has been the perfect example of working your way up to success and believing in yourself and what you are capable of creating.

At the age of 6, Ruby Bridges attended a former all-white elementary school in the 1960s in hopes for integration in Louisiana. Today, she is still an advocate for the prevention of racism and has her own organization called "The Ruby Bridges Foundation."

Having degrees from both Princeton and Harvard, Obama truly shows what it means to be a strong and powerful woman today.

Oprah's story is truly an example of going from rags to riches. From being raised by a single mother to being sexually assaulted by her cousin and uncle, Winfrey didn't have the greatest childhood, but today she is one of the most well-known names in Hollywood. She has always been an early advocate for the LGBT+ community and was the first recipient of the Bob Hope Humanitarian award in 2002. Today she has given over $400 million to educational causes.

RBG is an associate justice of the US supreme court and a feminist icon. She has been on the supreme court since 1993 (that's 26 years) and despite the many health issues she's been having over the past few years, she always has managed to get herself back up. RBG has also been very vocal about certain issues such as unequal pay for women. Also having degrees from both Cornell and Columbia, RBG truly shows what it means to be a strong woman.
