5. “I’m at this point in my life where I can’t just do what I want to do. I have to do things that really move my life forward, like spinning, do you guys know what that is?” Move yourself forward whatever the cost, even if you have to ask for help once in a while to do so. It might be painful. It might be spinning. But, it will probably (possibly) be worth it in the long run.

4. “After four vodka sodas I realized, I had something to say.” Alcohol will make you do things you probably shouldn’t … If you’ve been drinking you must learn to ignore all urges. This appears to be a universal rule for all adults; whether you're an unemployed loser who lives in your parents basement, or lecturer at a first class university, if you've had even one spritzer I'd advise keeping your opinions to yourself.

3. “I can’t run into somebody I know on the subway and not stand next to them, it’s weird.” A) Running into people you know in outside situations never stops being awkward. B) There are always so many rules! C) In situations such as these you must decide what is more awkward, blatantly ignoring the faint acquaintance or having to endure a four minute forced conversation with them.

2. “Why does everyone want me to die alone?” It’s okay to feel like everyone is rooting against you sometimes, I just hope for your sake that it’s actually all in your head. (*Maybe get a cat, just in case.*)

1. “This house, not equipped for kids, alright? I eat cereal out of wine glasses.” Being an adult means using your initiative in important situations; this might mean eating cereal from wine glasses, or drinking wine from cereal bowls, just always remember you have options.
