When I first found out I was going abroad I was like:
But as the time drew nearer I began to experience a range of different feelings
Such as, crippling anxiety
Or, euphoria
Sometimes, sadness
But mainly, excitement!
So finally, the day comes when it's time to leave home
And the ride over is a little bumpy...
But then you get there and you remember why you were so excited in the first place
And the beginning can be a bit rough, and you sometimes channel Dorothy
But that basically lasts for two seconds and pretty soon you never want to leave
And everything is wonderful, always
Yet, eventually the day comes where you realize your abroad experience's expiration date is coming soon
And then one day you wind up back at the airport saying goodbye to home all over again...
But who knows, maybe your temporary life won't be so temporary at all.
