Obama Campaign To Release 17-Minute Documentary Next Week On Obama's First Term

Expect hero-worship. But how much of it will be devoted to killing Bin Laden? It will be directed by Davis Guggenheim.

President Barack Obama's presidential campaign will release a 17-minute documentary on his first term next week, campaign manager Jim Messina told reporters today.

The film will be directed by Davis Guggenheim, who also directed the Obama biography shown at the Democratic National Convention in 2008 and the 30-minute informercial aired nationally before the election.

Guggenheim also directed the Al Gore climate change documentary "An Inconvenient Truth," as well as "Waiting for Superman."
