Obama Campaign Responds To Romney's Massachusetts Ad

    An Obama aide says:

There's a reason we don't' hear much about Mitt Romney's career in Massachusetts- it contradicts every promise he makes on the campaign trail today and completely undermines his attempts to portray himself as a fiscal wizard. He says he will create jobs, but during his four years as Governor, Massachusetts ranked 47th out of 50 in job creation. He says he will cut taxes, but he raised taxes and fees by $750 million a year. And he says he will reduce the deficit, but he increased debt as governor and left his successor with a billion dollar deficit. This is a record of failure, it's a record of broken promises, and it's one that Mitt Romney desperately wants to keep from the American people. Unfortunately, we won't let him.
