You have to love how during the abortion debates, right-wingers claim it's not about suppressing women right it's about strengthening unborn baby rights. Pretty hard to make argument now, huh? Unless you extend those rights to the not-yet-conceived. Basically anyone/thing other than women get rights, according to Republicans.

Do people who claim women have the right to buy contraceptives (as opposed to having them subsidized by a health insurer or the govn't) honestly not see that easily accessed and affordable contraceptives are a benefit to the ENTIRE PLANET?

Let's stop using the tax code to force people to buy health insurance through their employer! When all women (and men) can truly choose their own health care coverage, then we won't have to worry about our employer, or our government, making those choices for us.  Health care freedom belongs with the individual.

Under normal circumstances I'd dismiss this as a bit of hyperbolic fear mongering, but with the way conservatives have been systematically assaulting women's reproductive rights over the last year, it's horrifyingly conceivable that something like this could actually come to pass.
