Trubador 7 months agoI’ve seen the video. I didn’t hear the word “outsource” once. The ad says Jeep is making cars in China. That is 100% true. Whether those Jeeps will be for U.S. or international consumption isn’t the point. The point is why isn’t Chrysler reopening a shuttered plant and using laid of workers INSTEAD of making these in China?

You do know that carmakers tend to build cars in or near the markets where they’re going to sell them, right? And that it’s nothing new, or that started under Obama, right? I mean, it’s pretty basic stuff. And if you have even a passing familiarity with a) math, and b) elementary finance, you’d see why it’s reasonable, right? But maybe I’m assuming too much. Additionally, Romney - SURPRISE! - has been lying about Chrysler’s plans. To the point where the company itself refuted him. When was the last time a private company actually refuted a statement made by a presidential candidate? Oh, that’s right - never. It’s a sign of how brazen this guy’s lies are, that he’s being refuted publicly by a corporation. Do you support this guy? Do you think someone who has no core principles (as evidenced by his endless flip-flops and pandering) should be president? Do you think someone who lies so shamelessly and SO OFTEN should be president? It boggles the mind that anyone would want someone so unprincipled leading the country.
