Joe The Plumber Shows Up At Santorum Event

But he isn't endorsing. Santorum campaign asks to take a picture with him.

PERRYSBURG, Ohio—Samuel Wurzelbacher, better known as "Joe the Plumber" made an appearance at Rick Santorum's rally here, but said he is not endorsing in the presidential race.

Wurzelbacher, who is running for Congress in Ohio's 9th District, said he was there to "encourage people to come out and see the candidates."

He previously endorsed Herman Cain's failed candidacy, and said today he would not back another candidate.

But that does not mean that Wurzelbacher's presence went unnoticed by the Santorum campaign. Two aides to the presidential candidate approached Wurzelbacher about taking a picture with Santorum. It's not clear whether the candidate and the 2008 celebrity ever posed together.
