JennJR a year agoIn regards to that first CNN poll, what were the polling numbers for the candidate of the opposition party/incumbent? Who was being polled? The general population? The party-base? There is no context provided, and without it these numbers mean absolutely nothing. I think that it begs to be mentioned that of these 7 convention winners/eventual presidential candidates, only 1 actually won an electoral presidential race. I’m not getting my hopes up or letting my guard down. And maybe next time, link your sources.

Also because republicans as a whole have a twisted view of the importance of government in people’s lives and think elections are some popularity contest to be won and not a prelude to governing to try to make things better…
