Its not St Patty’s Day, its St Paddy’s Day with a double D. As in the Irish name for Patrick > Pádraig >Paddy. The slang (derogatory term) for an Irish guy is a Paddy. How can you get this wrong America?

  Omg yes. Not sure if I can claim a legit phobia, but man, that anticipation of conflict upon meeting a group of uproariously rowdy drunk people is INTENSE. While I was walking home from work tonight, four reeeal drunk guys took notice of me and started walking after/with me, shouting “Hey! Have some of my burger! You’re too skinny!! HAVE SOME! HEY come steal bikes with us!!” Urgh.
