Geoff Shaw, Member for Frankston in the Victorian Parliament who holds the balance of power, said "in Australia we can't kill snake eggs but we are quite happy to kill an egg in the tummy and it should be the safest place for a baby to be" while threatening to revisit reproductive choice law before the election. He's currently en route to the US to study their abortion law. Not the science though.
