lol stfu you have a lot to learn. the discrimination in america up until the 1960’s with the social security act that didn’t give money to domestic workers (tend to be mexican/black) equal housing act (disproportionately gives loans to whites) housing project (only 2% of houses build went to non-whites) and SO MUCH MORE… all these economic benefits of white “ancestors,” which was carried down and given to future generations. where you were born and what class you were born into matters and shapes your life. esp with the housing boom in the 1990’s, being able to get a loan back then mattered. The advantages given to white + disadvantages given to non-whites created huge economic gaps between both groups that still persist today. I’m not saying that people should separate themselves by drawing racial lines, i’m just saying that as educated people, we should acknowledge the past because if you think the present isn’t connected to the past, you’re an idiot. at least acknowledge what happened to non-whites and the adversity they had to face.
