    Heidi The Cross-eye Opossum Is Dead

    The Leipzig zoo says Heidi, the cross-eyed opossum who became an unlikely international celebrity, has died. After unsuccessfully treating her for arthritis and other symptoms of old age, Heidi's keepers acted humanely and put the three-and-a-half-year-old animal to sleep. (Photo via AP)
