Why Is A Suspected Pedophile Ex Judge Teaching Continuing Education For The State Bar

Why is a "retired" judge who admitted erasing a sex tape of himself "comforting" the boy he arranged to become a legal guardian, teaching ethics on behalf of the California State Bar?

When San Bernardino judge Craig Kamansky destroyed the tapes he made of himself and the underage, Jason Bumpus, the Commission of Judicial Performance issued a very mild rebuke to Kamansky, here.

This was after the San Bernardino DA opted to not protect the victim. Kamansky, was never criminally charged. But as guardian, he was sued by Jason Bumpus, the child he was supposed to protect. Details here.

    One paragraph included:

"Bumpus's complaint alleges that Judge Kamansky used his position as a judge to gain custody of Bumpus, and then used his position as Bumpus's court-appointed guardian to sexually abuse him. Accepting these allegations as true, as we must in ruling on the propriety of denying a motion to dismiss, it is clear that Judge Kamansky is not entitled to a dismissal on the ground of absolute judicial immunity. These acts, even though allegedly performed by a judge, are not "judicial acts" to which the doctrine of judicial immunity extends."

On behalf of the California State Bar, Kamansky began teaching continuing education classes.

    Including, "ethics."

Yesterday, California attorney, Patricia Barry filed an action to have Kamansky removed from the continuing education process.

A GoFundMe program, with all the disturbing details as the state's basic disregard for children, has been established, Here.

Kamansky now is in private arbitration and mediation with Inland Valley Arbitration and Mediation, (IVAMS) in San Bernardino.

Jason Bumpus, the child who sued him, reportedly settled. A helpful judge sealed the case.

    Jason committed suicide.

California attorney Patricia Barry filed documents to end the State Bar's relationship with Craig Kamansky. See pleading, here.
