Legoland, Billund, Denmark

Whether you’re in Denmark or the United states, Legoland is one of the only places where a grown man doesn’t look odd playing with toys.

Plaza Sesamo, Monterrey, Mexico

Parque Plaza Sesamo…because it’s always a little bizarre to see how beloved children’s characters are depicted in different cultures, like Abelardo (a green version of Big Bird) and Pancho Contreras (a blue Oscar the Grouch!).

Ocean Park, Hong Kong, China

For an “ocean”-themed attraction, there sure are a lot of pandas at Miniature Wonderland, and cost an estimated 4.8 million dollars. The miniatures consist of some forty aircraft, five hundred vehicles, fifteen thousand figurines, three hundred buildings and forty thousand lights. And it’s still not finished!

Sanrio Harmonyland, Oita, Japan

Sanrio Harmonyland is one of two Hello Kitty-themed parks in Japan (the other being indoor Sanrio Puroland), where all your pink, cartoon dreams come true! And since the white feline is like the Mickey Mouse of Asia, fans in China’s Zhejiang province can expect an influx of cuteness when the brand completes construction of a third Hello Kitty themed park in 2014.
