To answer the question, he's left already, his last episode was the last episode, Dan Radcliffe I believe. He asked to leave, but it sounds like it was also a mutual decision. IMO, the show isn't a good fit for him. None of his characters really took off much, and he didn't have an it factor to really make him interesting to watch. Taran Killam and Vanessa Bayer are kind of running away with the featured positions. Meanwhile, Jay Pharoah is floundering so bad in impersonation land that they did a sketch pretty much pointing out that all he does is impersonations. Anyway, so long Paul. Next.
