One Trick To Stop LinkedIn From Spamming Everyone You Know

Just because I updated my profile does NOT mean I want every single connection to get an email about it.

You know how LinkedIn does that CRAZY ANNOYING THING where they spam every single connection you have every time you update your profile?

And how it ALWAYS says you've got a new job...even if you're just updating your title or something else that's pretty small?

IT TRULY IS THE WORST.

STEP ONE: Click on the upper right side of your profile and select "Privacy & Settings."

STEP TWO: Scroll down to "Profile" and select "Turn on/off your activity broadcasts."

STEP THREE: Uncheck that pesky box and click "Save changes."

STEP FOUR: REJOICE!

STEP FIVE: Breathe a huge sigh of relief because you aren't ever going to annoy your LinkedIn contacts again.
