How “House” Ended
The series finale of House aired last night and we’ve got video of the final minutes. Spoilers ahoy!
So there you have it: House faked his death and rode off into the sunset with Wilson.
I’ll admit to not actually tuning into the show in years, but did the ending feel very Brokeback Mountain-esque to anyone else? BuzzFeed, did you think this ending was a proper sendoff for House or would you rather have seen him die in a fiery blaze?

Snoozy 11 months agoThis show could’ve been great, like it was in the first few seasons. It was kind of like Law & Order mixed in with Sherlock Holmes (or Goren and Eames from L&W: CI, holla!), only a medical diagnosis mystery with docs. I don’t know why they gave up on that concept and focused on the characters so much.

SuperTechnoFunk 11 months agoI had no idea that this show had ended. I also have not watched the show in years, but it seems like it was a good finale. Also interesting how some of the characters that left were there for the funeral.

Fun but predictable since 1.) There was no way House was going to let Wilson die on his own nor return to prison and 2.) House’s belief that everyone lies and is an idiot. Faking his death and getting everyone to fall for was probably pretty awesome for the character. Predictable? Yes. Better than Sopranos ending? Hell Yes.

Cates Holderness 11 months agoI’m okay with this. Given that House is (loosely) based on the Sherlock Holmes stories, this is in keeping with The Final Problem, where Sherlock “dies” at the Reichenbach Falls. I haven’t watched the show in years either, and I’m sad to hear that Wilson had cancer (predictable, but depressing nonetheless). All in all, it was a good show.
