definitely done number 2 before… My upper half will be soaked but my stomach area will stay dry. They do make good umbrellas. Number 3 makes it so I don’t have to carry a purse all the time. It’s great. I always have my phone in there. I always know if I get a call or text even if I accidentally switch my phone to silent, I don’t have to dig through a huge purse to find it, and I don’t have to deal with a huge uncomfy thing in my pants pocket
