In a ground-breaking Unite poll nearly 60% of minimum wage workers said they were trapped in poverty pay with more than 1 in 3 not able to afford to shop where they work. The 'double squeeze' of stagnating wages and the rising cost of living has meant people are working harder and getting poorer.
