Alice + the Mad Hatter? Really, people? In the book, Alice is 7. Any romantic vibes between them just seem really creepy and predatory because of that, even when it’s just normal adults in costume. Maybe if they’d chosen different characters it wouldn’t be so uncomfortable.

These could have been their engagement photos, and then done something more “traditional” for their actual wedding. I’ve seen zombie themed engagement photos, so why not Alice in Wonderland? I think it’s cool. More power to em.

There is nothing Mad Hatter-ish about his demeanor, so it just doesn’t fit somehow. He has the same serious face in every picture. Why pretend to be a character for a photoshoot if you aren’t going to have any fun with it?
