    Trust God In All Things

Jeremiah 17:7, "A blessing on the man who puts his trust in God, with God for his hope." To trust God takes a lot of faith and that is why we are tested. Those that are faithful to God will go through many tests and trials not only to prove that they trust God, but also to make their faith stronger in Him.

When a hardship comes along, what is the first thing that we do? Do we start to worry and project a variety of negative outcomes, or do we turn it over to God and believe in Him to work it out for us? Worrying will destroy any kind of faith or hope that we had in God. It is a form of fear and it tells God that we do not trust Him enough.

Worrying can cause us stress, it clouds our mind, it puts us in darkness and it will lead us to another dark emotion called "fear". Fear will only lead us deeper into the darkness and can cause anxiety and depression. Depression can disrupt a person's life in such a way that it can lead to a mental breakdown and/or destroy an entire family.

Despair is another negative, dark emotion where we lose all hope, it's like we just throw in the towel and give up. Many people are out living on the streets or are institutionalized because of these emotions. Despair can lead us to desperation which can cause us to do things that we would, under normal conditions, never do or even think about.

The way to avoid all of these dark emotions is to build our faith in God, to Trust God with all we have. We need to work on our thought process to think of only positive outcomes and to believe that God is in control and that when we need to be comforted, He will be there for us. God's Holy Spirit is our comforter and that is why we need to drive ourselves towards righteousness.

This is where God's blessed Son Jesus Christ comes in. By building a one on one relationship with Him, He will guide us back to God. He will teach us and show us exactly what we need to do, what we need to change and why we need to. He will help us to change our thought process and modify our behavior. We will learn to see things in a whole new perspective.

    May God Bless You Always
