    Chinese Police Allegedly Gun-Down Rioters In Xinjiang Killing At Least Four

    The official statement from Chinese authorities is that the police were defending a station that was being attacked but several eye witnesses have said that the incident began when police opened fire on peaceful protesters. Xinjiang is a province of China and those involved in this incident were protesting against Chinese oppression over the area.
